ON-GRID SOLUTIONS: ENHANCING POWER.
Cut-the-cord solution
Grid-led solar solution
At sites that are connected to the main grid, solar is fed in “behind the meter” to directly power the site and reduce the amount of energy obtained from the grid. This can be combined with a “grid + diesel backup”. That is, grid plus solar when the grid is available, or on-site diesel plus solar when the grid is down.
Net-metering solution
If the solar-diesel-battery set-up produces more electricity than the customer needs, the excess electricity can be added to the national grid in certain countries and the customer receives credits. Every year, all energy-related charges from the utility can be eliminated, while the fixed costs of using the grid are still due to the grid utility, such as a monthly-fixed charge and the per-kVA demand charge. Grid outages also require an on-site diesel generator as a backup.
OFF-GRID SOLUTIONS: SUPPLYING POWER.
Solar-diesel hybrid solution
Energy storage-led solution
Energy storage-supported solution
For larger off-grid users with moderate diesel-energy prices, our Energy Storage Module can be added to support the solar-diesel hybrid system. This enables higher solar energy penetration, maximized savings on diesel fuel and additional CO2 reductions.

Our flexible lease agreements require just minimal upfront investment, increase operational agility, reduce cost, and help enhance your environmental footprint.
REDAVIA offers solar power for businesses with a regional focus on West and East Africa.
Many companies mistakenly believe that solar is expensive and requires a high up-front investment. But this is not the case! REDAVIA finances all its solar installations, so the user pays only a very small upfront payment. Clients pay monthly fixed fees, and these fees are lower than the savings they make for using less grid-power, hence lowering monthly power costs.
Another misconception is that solar cannot power large users, like factories or large buildings. But this is also not the case. REDAVIA has over 30 sites in Ghana and the majority of our customers are larger energy users: solar is a great power source for industry.
Any type of roof can support the solar panels, provided it is structurally adequate to support the weight of the solar panels. REDAVIA pays for a third-party structural analysis for all its roof-top projects.
REDAVIA will conduct an in-depth, on-site technical assessment in order to carefully engineer the optimal system for your needs. This way, you can be sure the size we propose is right for you.
There are two types of solar panels for commercial use namely; monocrystalline, polycrystalline, and thin-film. REDAVIA uses monocrystalline and polycrystalline panels for its installations.
Solar is a reliable source of electricity when combined with, for example, the grid, diesel generators and/or batteries. During REDAVIA’s site visit, we assess which combination of energy sources provides the most cost-effective and reliable solution to suit your business’ requirements. With over 30 satisfied customers in Ghana and Kenya, REDAVIA, backed up by its engineering team in Germany, have established a strong reputation for technical quality, reliability, and cost savings.
Solar can power all equipment including sophisticated, “heavy” machines used in sectors such as pharmaceutical, agro-processing, and mining.
Depending on the solution, solar will help you make savings on your grid bill and provide a constant supply of clean energy. REDAVIA offers a 24/7 online portal that allows businesses to monitor their energy consumption in real time after installation.
REDAVIA only installs solar panels for commercial and industrial purposes and not for homes.
Solar power is the lowest cost option to power industrial and commercial activities. Typically, REDAVIA’s solar power proposition comes in at a price that is 10-20% below the grid price paid by businesses.
There are three types of solar power systems which are grid tied, off grid, and hybrid. Each system offers a unique power generation and power storage experience.
