ON-GRID SOLUTIONS: ENHANCING POWER.

Cut-the-cord solution

If the site fully eliminates a grid connection and becomes entirely self-reliant, it only uses energy that is locally generated almost entirely from solar. By adding the Energy Storage Module, the solar energy produced during the day can be stored and used at night, without any grid contract. This saves money and creates near-100% supply reliability and near-100% renewable power supply.

Grid-led solar solution

At sites that are connected to the main grid, solar is fed in “behind the meter” to directly power the site and reduce the amount of energy obtained from the grid. This can be combined with a “grid + diesel backup”. That is, grid plus solar when the grid is available, or on-site diesel plus solar when the grid is down.

Net-metering solution

If the solar-diesel-battery set-up produces more electricity than the customer needs, the excess electricity can be added to the national grid in certain countries and the customer receives credits. Every year, all energy-related charges from the utility can be eliminated, while the fixed costs of using the grid are still due to the grid utility, such as a monthly-fixed charge and the per-kVA demand charge. Grid outages also require an on-site diesel generator as a backup.

Solar-diesel hybrid solution

Our solar farms can fulfill large and small electricity needs by reliably supplementing existing diesel generators. The resulting hybrid system significantly reduces costs and carbon emissions.

Energy storage-led solution

Our Energy Storage Module provides enough energy storage capacity to enable 24/7 electricity supply from solar. This module can also support the solar-diesel hybrid system, enabling higher solar energy penetration and increased reliability, while maximizing savings on fuel and generating additional CO2 reductions.

Energy storage-supported solution

For larger off-grid users with moderate diesel-energy prices, our Energy Storage Module can be added to support the solar-diesel hybrid system. This enables higher solar energy penetration, maximized savings on diesel fuel and additional CO2 reductions.

Many companies mistakenly believe that solar is expensive and requires a high up-front investment. But this is not the case! REDAVIA finances all its solar installations, so the user pays only a very small upfront payment. Clients pay monthly fixed fees, and these fees are lower than the savings they make for using less grid-power, hence lowering monthly power costs.
